| I am really excited about this, Dan Hardy is one of my favorite fighters and he has been awesome in the UFC. I wish they put him against Yoshida for a Cage Force final re-match, before Yoshida is out of the UFC....

| I'm rooting hard for Kang and Hardy. Ironically, I think those two fights will be the best out of the card. |

What do you think about the Couture decision? I missed that fight, otherwise Bisping was good. And Hardy got the win he deserved. |

i definitely thought it was the right decision, and thought it was lame that joe rogan once again got on his soap box after the fight and complained about the judging. vera did more damage in the fight, no doubt, but randy controlled so much of the fight that you have to give it to him. |

That fight reminded me why the UFC is one of my least favorite orgs to watch in terms of rules, etc. I was screaming for them to restart it the whole 3/4 of the fight that Randy did nothing but press Vera against the fence. Couture wins another snoozer. |

| Couture fight was absolute dogs shit. in Japan he wouldn't have even got any pay if he lost, due to all the yellow cards he would have received.
Feel real bad for Vera, he should really use his distance alot more though. I think that where most of the problems came from in the fight. |

I'm happy Brown won and Swick and Vera lost, but I agree I didn't care about that card very much |

| i dunno how Randy won by a U.D......Vera dropped him in the second and got a takedown in third. i thought he controlled much of the fight..... Randy attempted many takedowns and got none, didnt have Vera hurt, that was some serious bullshit....UFC needs to get their judging shit together
i called Dan Hardy over Swick, Matt Brown is a beast. |

| Randy won the first round by controlling Vera in the clinch against the cage. The 2nd round Vera won because he hurt Randy and did the most damage. The 3rd could have gone either way, I could see a split decision for Randy, but like Dana White said Randy knows how to control fights in the cage. People seem to forget that Randy caught Vera with a flurry before he clinched him against the cage, which is why Vera was smiling. Randy got mounted but escaped quickly then got another flurry in before the round ended. I think he hit Vera more, though his punches probably didn't hurt as much. Round by round I think Randy won, but scoring the whole fight in terms of damage I can see a good argument for Vera. In general Randy controlled most of the fight. Vera had a couple moments where he hurt Randy, but that was it. But this is why you try to end the fight, if you do that you won't have to worry about judging.
I was surprised by Dan Hardy actually, to be honest he didn't really impress me much before. I mean he won two split decisions against Gono and Davis. Plus I've seen some of his older fights and he seems to have struggled with guys he probably shouldn't of. He also doesn't have that great of a ground game but I see an improvement in his takedown defense. I don't really care to see him against GSP since he seems to have trouble with good grapplers. I wish he would fight the winner of Koscheck Vs. Rumble to determine the no.1 contender. At the same time though I think Hardy will be able to sell the fight very well and make you think he has a better chance than he really does.
Matt Brown is a tough dude, people underestimate him I think because of his record. But like many Japanese fighters I don't think you can judge them on their record. I actually expected Brown to win.
Kang was disappointing. It seems like he is winning every fight before he loses. It's sad because he has so much talent. He could be a huge threat if he fixed some things. I didn't really see Bisping winning this fight since I didn't think he was better than Kang at anything. But Bisping showed himself to be very durable, and when his opponent tires out he can put the pressure on and break you. |

absolutely, if this fight had been scored as a whole, and with "effort to finish the fight" being the paramount factor in terms of judging, vera would have won. |
